Allen Martin After George Kreps of Hagerstown, Maryland
Description: Fine curly sugar maple, 48" long Getz barrel in 50 caliber, a custom flintlock, handmade brass mountings including the 4 piece engraved patchbox with 9 piercing, all tied together with splendid architecture and highlighted with sterling silver inlays and finely detailed, well executed relief carving. Nicely aged patina, very low sights, warm blended colors give the rifle the feeling of well cared for original. The original was built around 1803.
