The Gary Birch Hunting Pouch with the Lally House Quilled Strap was once owned by George Carter. We do not know if any of these other items are from George Carter's Collection/Estate or not. George  frequently displayed at the CLA Annual Show.

There are items by Tom Gifford, Steve Vance, John Plybon, Max Soaper, Djuana Tucker, Nathan Allen, Joe Mills, Eve Otmar and Karl Wilburn as well as many other contemporary makers on this site for sale.

 
Exquisite Scrimshawed Powder Horn Depicting 1763 Havana Harbor by Three Masters

The Main Body & Carving is by Ronald Scott of Albany, Oregon. The Scrimshaw was executed by Steve Vance of Placerville, California. The Hand Woven and Intricately Beaded Shoulder Strap is by Tom Conde of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.

This Havana Horn measures 13.5" x 2.75". It sports a Walnut Butt Plug carved in a Spiral Pattern with similar Spiral Work at the neck. An Antler Spout Plug contrasts the Amber Horn Neck. Profuse Creative Engraving depicts the Havana Harbor of 1763.

The Shoulder Strap measures 52" x 2"

The drop is 27"

There are three small weevil chews on the neck of this horn as disclosed in the photos.
