Happy 90th Birthday Robert Ditchburn!

On April 14th Bob Ditchburn will be celebrating his 90th birthday. The following pictures are presented as a tribute to Mr. Ditchburn. For those of you who do not know Bob, during his active years he was a noted historian, archeologist, collector and gunsmith. Bob's career as a maker of fine rifles peaked in the late 1970's. Sadly his productive years were later shortened by a tragic automobile accident. With the loving support of his wife Peg and family, his determined will and the grace of God, Bob has proven that he is a surviver.

Now his Kentucky Rifles are now being sough, collected and highly prised by the next generation. Bob designed his rifles to be long and slim. He adorned them in the best traditions of the York, Littlestown and Emmitsburg schools. His attention to detail and his ability to transfer his art onto wood, brass, silver and steel is still amazing.

Happy Birthday BOB!
