This is possibly a ceremonial headdress of a Mississippian chief which uses the copper sun disk shown earlier.

Ocmulgee Indian Mounds: Part VI
Among the artifacts found in the Funeral Mound were a pair
of copper sun disk and a copper covered puma jaw. They were probably part of a
ceremonial headdress of a Mississippian chief.
