Bob Dodson Harness Stitched Rifle Bag

This is a small rifle bag that is approximately 7.5" x 8.0" and completely harness stitched. This rifle bag was crafted from a high quality piece of cowhide and harness stitched with fine linen cord. The bag is trimmed in red leather and fitted with iron hardware. The bag has a small flint pocket on the backside and has been completed with an adjustable shoulder strap.

Beaver Tail Rifle Bag By Bob Dodson

This small beaver tail rifle bag measures approximately 71/4 inches wide and 8 inches tall and was finished in a medium brown. The bag has been crafted from very light weight cowhide and has a full length tapered gusset fitted with leather welts for additional strength.  The rifle bag was completely harness stitched with three and four ply linen cord. The bag has been fitted with four pieces of iron hardware and displays an adjustable shoulder strap.

Rifle Bag By Bob Dodson

This rifle bag was finished in a dark brown and features a scallop top trim. The bag has a full tapered gusset with leather welts and was completely harness stitched with three and four ply linen cord. The rifle bag has been fitted with iron hardware and has an adjustable shoulder strap. The woven accoutrement cord was made by Sherre Dodson.

Hubting Pouch by Bob Dodson

This is a small rifle bag made from two ounce tanned cowhide and finished in a dark brown color. The bag has been completely harness stitched and displays a side and bottom gusset completed with leather welt strips. The front panel, rear flint pocket and bag cover flap all display leather edgings. The actual bag measures approximately 7 1/2 inches wide and approximately 7 inches tall. The rifle bag displays iron hardware with an adjustable leather shoulder strap. The Lehigh Rifle was made by Allen Martin and the small day horn was made by Mike Small.

Small Kidney Shaped Field Bag by Bob Dodson

This bag is completely harness stitched with waxed Irish linen thread that is approximately 7" wide and 6.5" deep. Bag features an exterior flint pocket and all iron hardware. The strap is fitted with a sized leather scabbard to accept an adjustable iron powder measure with a hand woven accoutrement cord. Flap, rear pocket and curved front panel are all trimmed in red pigskin.

Powder Measure by Bob Dodson

A very nice carved and etched antler tip powder measure that is approximately 50 grs. capacity. The small etched patterns are very carefully applied and the attachment hole is adequate.

Small Day Bag by Bob Dodson

Bag is a basic "D" pattern approximately 7" wide and 6.5" deep. The bag is face stitched and has an interior leather divider. Strap is 1 1/4" and has an iron forged buckle for adjustment. Nice little day bag for the necessary tools.
