Scott Shea Leigh Co. Rifle

Not a copy of any one rifle but reprehensive of the area. The barrel is a 38" swamped Colerain in 45 cal. The lock is a Chambers Golden Age. The gun has some light incised carving and has a slightly aged patina.

Glen Mock Knife for Jeremiah "Jake" Browning

As part of a grandfather’s established tradition from me to my grandson, Jeremiah Browning - this is the second handmade knife made by friends for his birthday. This knife was built by Glen Mock of Mercer, MO for Jeremiah David Browning. Jeremiah received this knife on his 11th birthday, November 7, 2011 from his grandfather, H. David Wright.

The forged blade with Glen’s touch mark is handled in walnut with an iron pommel cap engraved with “Nov. 7, 2011”.  An inlaid iron panel in the top of the handle is engraved “JDB ~ HDW”.

When I opened the package from Glen, an added treat was included – a duplicate of Jeremiah’s knife. A note from Glen accompanied the two knifes, “If grandson needs a knife, then granddad should have one just like it, too.”

Thanks Glen.
