This horn is based on horn # 36 from Art DeCamp's book "Pennsylvania Horns of the Trade." This is a large horn, measuring 13 3/4" across from the end of the 2 3/4" diameter maple base plug to the tip of the turned horn screw tip. This early Bucks/Chester County horn was made to accompany my most recent acquisition, an early Bucks County 1760's-1770's 14g smooth rifle from the bench of Eric Kettenburg. The raw silk and wool strap was made by Shayna Matthews.
