This special exhibit is in honor of the Battle of New Orleans' Bicentennial and will run through May 22nd, 2015. The star of this exhibit will be an original John Jacob Sheetz Kentucky Rifle used at the Battle of New Orleans by militiaman William Ross, on loan to the Ansel M. Stroud Jr. Military History and Weapons Museum from Mr. and Mrs. Robert Melancon.
