'Meriwether Lewis' Pipe Tomahawk by Brian Anderson
A copy of the 'Meriwether Lewis' pipe tomahawk l just finished for a customer which will be on display with others at the upcoming Lewisburg 'Artisan's Show', January 31st and February 1st.
A friend who is a Tomahawk nut and I were talking, We weren't aware there was a M Lewis pipe axe in existence. Please tell us more on the historical background on this piece.
Lewis carried a pipe hawk on the expedition which didn't return with him.(see journals)After his return he had another made (google 'meriwether lewis pipe tomahawk' punch Lewis and Clark for educators.
