Great Lakes Beaded Strap and Powder Horn with thread and sinew-sewn with black and white pony and seed beads outlining organically shaped blue wool which is appliqued to the red wool strap; ends of strap are bifurcated and detailed with a cross and remnants of hide fringe; strap edged and partially backed with beige cotton; powder horn decorated with brass tacks is tied to strap with hide thongs, length 31.5 in. x width 3.25 in.; length of powder horn 8.25 in., early 19th century.
