Nice example of a Sullivan County rifle! The Gross gun-making family and their rifles seemed to have had a large influence on neighboring rifle makers. It also appears that the Gross family rifle makers spanned four generations in that area. I would love to see a rifle by the patriarch Jacob Gross.
