An unadorned revolutionary rifle with a sliding wooden box stocked in a nice piece of curly maple from Freddie Harrison with a .50 caliber 44" long Getz barrel. The buttplate was swaged from sheet brass and the triggerguard was sand cast from a wooden pattern of my design. The sideplate, thimbles and entry pipe were formed and filed from sheet brass. Other details on this rifle include a steel block soldered on the buttplate to protect the soft brass from the sliding wooden box spring, a reverse worm ramrod tip and hand made sling swivels with an Ed Wilde sling.
Super clean early rifle- back in the day our forefathers would be lining up for rifles like this one!

Very nice work David. I like the choice of the open bow and the well executed casting.
