I *really* like this guy's work - have liked it a lot since I first saw it at the CLA in 1998 or 99 (don't remember which). Very folky and organic and seems to have a lot of the soul of early kentuckies that have a hasty/workmanlike quality to them. I sincerely mean that as a compliment, and I suspect this is what he's going for.
