Dale (Cottrell) The Tinker was my great grandfather. I was just going through some of the things he made and decided to do a quick google search of him and I am ecstatic to see some of his work displayed on-line. I don't know if you knew Dale personally but I would be happy to hear any stories you may have of him or how you came across these items. My e-mail is 1mhastings87@gmail.com.
Hi Mike, Just picked up two items produced by your grandfather at a local online auction out of Berryville, VA. Both appear to be reproductions of early French or American pieces. One is probably a tea pot and the second is a pitcher. They both have labels on the bottom identifying them as being made by your grandfather.
