This is my try at building a early rifle. This rifle could have been built by any backwoods blacksmith that would have built only a few guns. The parts would have been gathered from other guns or made buy him. The barrel is a 38" long .54 cal. swamped colrain it has a chambers lock hand forged brass hardware all on a red maple stock. It has a13 7/8" lop with a 1/4 cast off.
