1770 Era Virginia Rifle by Larry Curnow

This recreation of a Virginia Rifle from the 1770 era, signed by the maker, is new and unfired having been completed in November 2009. The 44-inch, “C” weight Colerain barrel is .54 caliber with round-bottom rifling. This rifle has a premium sugar maple stock with a pull of 13 7/8 inches and features an early Ketland lock is by Jim Chambers. All metal surfaces are hand polished using 18th century techniques (no buffing wheel). All screw heads are hand slotted and finished and the patch box displays tasteful, authentic folk art engraving. This rifle has been tastefully aged to represent a well cared for antique. Please email me for a complete set of high-resolution photos and to discuss terms.
