Jeff Bibb Bag with His Great, Great Grandfather's English Smooth Bore

Large pouch copied from an original found in the Covington, Va area. 9" wide by 8" deep and approximately 1" larger than the original. The body and flap are made from bison. The gusset was lengthened to provide more capacity. Hanging inside pocket. Flap lined with blue-stripe ticking. 1.5" cowhide strap with hand-forged buckle.

The gun is an original English smooth bore, circa 1795 - 1800. 33 gauge / .52 caliber, 44" barrel. Belonging to my great, great grandfather, it was converted to percussion at some point. It appears to originally have been a half-stock, made from nice English walnut. The original Ketland lock is engraved as are the rest of the iron mounts.
