The contemporary hunting pouch is made from a heavy cloth, antique feed sack. The leather flap is decorated with cross hatching and secures with a small brass button. The 12" horn is an original antique and displays all of the wear and great patina of a nice original. It hangs from hangers fashioned from the edge of the strap as was found on many originals, and secures to the plug with its original copper wire staple. The strap itself is fully adjustable with an antique, brass center-bar buckle. The patch knife is also an original, with its thin steel blade attached to the round handle with two hammered copper wire rivets. The sheath for it is sewn to the strap and is cross hatched to match the flap. The measure is made from a hollowed, curiously twisted piece of white tail antler and attaches to the braided lanyard with an iron ring on the tip of the antler, and with a copper ring sewn to the strap at the other end.
