18th Century Style Turn Screw by Brad

This 18th Century style turn screw is entirely hand made from original, unworked 18th Century Wrought Iron. It is constructed from one solid piece of iron and decorated with a suppressed ball turning, ogee moldings and hand engraved finial. It was finished off using the correct heat treating technology of the period to ensure proper function and longevity during use.   It measures 3″ in overall length.

North Carolina 4-Banded horn of Randolph County style

This circa 1790's to 1810 North Carolina horn is patterned after originals. The maple wood butt has a long button for strap attachment, with brass headed tack in the center of the button.  There is a contrasting wide horn band at the butt end of the horn and three contrasting horn bands are on the natural colored semi-translucent horn body.  The two-piece turned antler tip is pinned to the spout end of the horn.

This horn measures approximately 12" across, 2-1/2" diameter at the butt and could be carried either right or left side.  It will ride perfectly on a hunting bag.
