Benjamin Bigelow Horn by Kevin Hart

Title: The Benjamin Bigelow Horn

Inscriptions: Benjamin Bigelow/ His Horn/ Under Capt. Phineas Stevens/ Made April 1747/ After the 3 Day Siege by The French and Indian Allies/ Fort No. 4 banner/ Names of Officers and men at Fort No. 4/ Country of the Iroquois

Length: Large horn 19 inches along bottom edge including horn stopper

Throat: Following the carved engrailed edge, the horn has a 5-inch full octagonal throat with dual wedding bands for a horn strap and two small rings at the tip. 

Butt Plug: Lathe turned Clara Walnut 3 1/2 inches in diameter

Plug: The horn stopper is cut from the tip of the horn and is 1 1/2 inches long 

Worn: Right Side Carry

Carvings: British Royal Seal, Directional Compass/ Northeastern Woodland Indian/ Free Mason Compass & Square with internal Sun/ Maps of the North River and Connecticut River with forts/ homes/ and farms/ A view of Fort No. 4 with the names of officers and 
personnel quartered at the fort during the siege/ French General Debelines’ Army/ Soldier shooting at a deer, Indian shooting at same deer/ trees/ bushes/ Indian shooting bow/ Indian running with tomahawk/ Maker’s Mark banner and Celtic Dragon Cartouche.

Some Things in a Gentleman's Pocket by Steven Rodosevich

An 18th century silver time piece, a small French folding knife, a early copy of "A Young Man's Own Book". This is a manual of politeness, intellectual improvement, and moral deportment calculated to form the character on a solid basis, and to insure respectability and success in life. An embossed bill case or pocket book for Mr. Wilson. The wool wescott was made by Jone Steward of Pocatello, Idaho.
